Plai Advisors ("we", "us", "our") is a financial education practice based in Bangkok, Thailand. We are committed to handling any personal data you share with us carefully and in line with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA) of Thailand. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you hold over it.

We collect only what we need:
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, and optionally telephone number and a message.
- Programme enrolment: name, email, phone number, and payment confirmation. We do not store card details — payment is processed by a third-party provider.
- Website analytics: aggregate, anonymised usage data via analytics cookies, if you have consented to these.
- Email correspondence: content of messages you send to us.
We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as financial account details, health information, or identity document numbers).
3. Legal Basis for Processing
- Contract: processing necessary to administer your programme enrolment.
- Consent: analytics cookies, marketing emails (opt-in only).
- Legitimate interest: responding to enquiries, improving programme content.
- Legal obligation: retaining financial records as required by Thai law.
4. How We Use Your Data
- To respond to your enquiry or confirm your enrolment.
- To administer programme sessions and send logistical information.
- To send post-programme follow-up communications (facilitator access period).
- To maintain accurate financial records as required by Thai accounting law.
- To analyse, in aggregate and anonymised form, how our website is used.
We do not use your data for automated profiling or for selling financial products. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
5. Data Retention
- Enquiry data (no enrolment): deleted after 12 months.
- Participant records: retained for 5 years from the programme completion date to comply with Thai accounting requirements, then deleted.
- Analytics data: aggregate and anonymised; retained for up to 26 months.
- Email correspondence: retained for 2 years, then reviewed and deleted unless needed for an ongoing matter.
6. Data Protection Measures
- Access to personal data is limited to practice staff with a need to know.
- Data is stored on password-protected, encrypted systems.
- Email communications involving personal data use standard encrypted mail protocols.
- In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Committee and affected individuals within 72 hours of discovery, in line with PDPA requirements.

8. Your Rights Under PDPA
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to:

- Request correction of inaccurate data.

- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Request restriction of processing while a dispute is resolved.
- Lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee of Thailand.

Our programmes are designed for adults aged 40 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that data has been submitted by a minor, we will delete it promptly.
